Membership

If you would like to become a member of Friends of Albert Schweitzer (UK), please write to us with your name, address, contact number and email, and a cheque for your membership fee (see below). Alternatively, you may download this form here (page one, page two).

Our Data Base is soley for the purpose of communicating with members, potential members and supporters of FoAS(UK) and supporters of Dr. Schweitzer's Hospital Fund. If you have any concerns about your name being on this list, please telephone us on +44 (0) 1223 207 333.

Gift Aid Declaration: If you are a UK taxpayer and you pay an amount of tax each year at least equal to the amount the Charity can re-claim on your subscriptions and donation in that year, every £1 you give could be worth £1.28 to the charity. If you qualify, please include "I do pay the required amount of tax to cover my donation" in your letter.

Membership Subscription: The membership fee will enable us to cover the out of pocket expenses involved in staying in touch with our members via simple newsletters and in making arrangements for essential meetings and elections of officers. This will allow donations to be fully utilised towards the realisation of our aims.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP: £10 for 1 year, £18 for 2 years, £26 for 3 years
COUPLES LIVING AT ONE ADDRESS: £15 for 1 year, £27 for 2 years, £39 for 3 years
