ok first I need to write right away, the good news is, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY about something!!!!!!!!!
you know what has been happening for me.. all this craziness going on from January on.. and then how terrible it was with what happened, the situations, circumstances, it was terrible for me, experiencing all this!!.. and what happened in FL was most terrible concerning what I ever experienced with humans so far.. but now that all this happened and is 'over' I try as best as I can to see all the 'good things that somehow happened with all this happening, that I also got to know other people with all this, and a few other things.. only thing is that situations which were terrible keep coming back into my mind, but then I just try to think of something else, concentrate on something else as good as possible.. I guess it will somehow stay a bit of course.. I mean I imagine that for other terrible things which I have experienced so far, somehow you think about it again of course, I mean it is not just like forgotten and out of your experience and feelings.. but I know, most important is, focusing on good thoughts, experiences, all that!!!.. feel good feelings!.. be happy about things I can be happy about!!..
ok so.. I can tell you why I am sooo happy... I am soo glad, now all makes sense to me somehow, why things needed to happen this way, that something else could happen this way!!!!!!!!.. for me it is like it was exactly 'timed' from the universe, with situations and everything, that it was exactly that time that I needed to get out of the USA, get back to Austria, and that something else could happen then!!!...
so, to let you know what it is.. I am together now with someone!!!! he is from Ireland!!.. he is soooo sweet, soooo dear, and I just feel completely with my heart and my soul how much he cares (about me), and we are soo connected also with everything!!.. also for example he hadn't heard of Nonviolent Communication as 'this' directly, but it also had been natural for him somehow, this way.. and he also understands the situation, with my parents and so on, and other things, and has given me just empathy when I have needed it, and has just been there for me... and really it is soo amazing, I feel soo happy, soo glad, soo touched, soo blissful, how I feel it from him and about him, completely with my heart and soul, and how everything comes from him completely from his heart and soul!!!!
I am so glad, he could come to Austria for 10 days in June.. and I am also sooo happy, I was able to already go to Ireland in July, from 25th to 30th, so at least for these few days!! it was wonderful, I also loove it there!!
it is in a way hard, you can imagine, being apart for sometime.. but we know it will be ok somehow!!.. and we will be able somehow soon to meet more regularly..
now it is also so important that I can find a job soon.. soon after being back here in Austria end of April, I have started writing applications for preschools.. no luck yet.. I know I am a bit 'afraid' in a way, everything will be new for me, now really starting working, and will be also not that easy first I think, but I know also somehow will be ok - I just hope I find now a job in a nice preschool.. and then everything will only get better -- that I can finally get more and more independant from my parents, that is what I need!!.. and then I can also go more often to Ireland.. so then hopefully somehow soon I can go to Ireland once per month, and he can go to Austria once per month!..
so for me it is also even more clear now.. how I was so 'fixed' somehow on the USA.. and finding someone there..
and now I guess the universe has just made it a bit 'easier' for me.. so ok I need to  still be for a bit here in Austria, and work here.. but it's great, Ireland is also in Europe, also in the EU.. and ok for travelling dependant on going by planes, but well..
of course nothing changed nevertheless how I love it in California especially too.. and I miss the twin girls of whom I took care in San Mateo.. and all my other friends.. but well nothing is 'lost', I can come back to CA as soon as I can.. I know it might not be this year, but then for sure somehow next year I hope.. and then I can also  go with my now boyfriend..
he can come to Austria again now in August, at least for a weekend.. I guess with this being how it is, we just will even more treasure and appreciate the time together.. and somehow need to go through it being hard being apart for more days.. I know it will be ok somehow.. it will just get 'easier' somehow, also when I have a job.. and we belong together, and I am sooo happy and touched and feel so blissful to know him now!!!

as soon as I get to it, I will also write more again about other things, and also want to catch up reading recent messages of course.. am looking forward to talking to you all again more/writing with you here..

Just a few days ago I had a look here to see whether anyone had been posting things and I had missed it. Life has gone on apace and it takes us in different directions from time to time.
But now here you are, Irene, with your "good news" and on the same time Megan has made me a friend on her "Facebook" entry and I have seen her photo and read all about her.

It is such good news that things are working out for you, Irene, in Vienna, that you have started a "job" with children and that your relationship with your boyfriend is steady and making you happy.

I have not noticed any difference in the "workings" of this Forum, but if you have any difficulties, do tell me and we will get Matt to look at it. I do hope the fact that there has been so little "activity" here recently is not due to any snags in the system.

Perhaps, whilst the "world out there" is rocking in its foundations with economic upheaval, we, our little group here, is having a "calmer, steadier time of it" and there aren't so many questions.......?

Anyway, I'm soooo happy for you, Irene, keep it up!

I am soo happy, finally I can go to Ireland again in December now.. my boyfriend has been to Austria now once a month at least for a weekend, so that's great .. this month he was here with the weekend of 13th December.. and I can go to Ireland on the 26th December, and stay until 2nd January!!


I just thought of asking, Percy, or anyone else, do you maybe know of an Albert Schweitzer group in Ireland? or anyone else from Ireland with whom I could get in touch?


now just in case that I don't get to write anymore here this year (maybe I still will of course), I already want to write to you here - I wish you all the best for the new year! much love, happiness and peace!!

You've got your end of the Bush Era (your posting of the 7th Feb 08)hurray! and happy 48th birthday on the 6th Feb!!!!
In that posting you recommended a book to me which you had just received then: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. Because of the Author's name, I assumed it to written originally in German, so when I was in Switzerland over New Year I ordered it there in German, only to see that it had in fact been written in English.
Never mind: I started reading in it straight away and was completely fascinated by it. I got about 2/3 the way through it before coming back to England. I gave it to a friend there and am now ordering it here in English in order to finish it. But it has already helped me several important steps further on my path. Thank you so much for pointing me in its direction!!!!! It is a book of great significance for everybody.

Just finished reading this (In English I'm afraid  ) as I brought it for myself just before Christmas. In light of some very bad medical news I have received over the last few months, I found it very enlightening and has given me much to think about.

Let me know what you think of it when you finish it as I'm about to start re-reading it.

Sadly no Percy. If anything, it has gotten worse!!  

I have a trip to the Pulmonary (lung) specialist soon so hopefully that will shed some light on the problem, treatment and a possible cure (if any).
